This year, we feature Cades Schutte land use client Furukawa Living Treasure (“Furukawa”) in our holiday message. Furukawa is an adult senior day center in Kapālama, Hawai‘i, providing care to kupuna with culturally sensitive kindness. In 2023, Cades Schutte helped Furukawa navigate critical permitting issues and this year, Furukawa is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Our holiday message was inspired by a handmade note sent by one of the Furukawa kupuna to our attorneys.
