Troy is an associate in Cades Schutte’s Honolulu office and a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group. Troy’s practice focuses on personal injury, foreclosure litigation, and real estate and commercial litigation including community and association disputes and automobile-related cases. Troy has experience in both trial and appellate courts.
Troy earned his J.D. from the University of Hawai‘i, William S. Richardson School of Law. While in law school, Troy received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Research and served as a Teaching Assistant for Lawyering Fundamentals I & II. Troy also served as a Judicial Extern at the Hawai‘i Supreme Court under the Honorable Sabrina S. McKenna, at the Hawai‘i Intermediate Court of Appeals under the Honorable Derrick H.M. Chan, and at the Circuit Court of the First Circuit, State of Hawai‘i under the Honorable Keith K. Hiraoka.
Prior to law school, Troy earned his B.B.A. in Applied Information Management Systems at Loyola Marymount University.
In 2023, Troy received an Outstanding Pro Bono Service award for his dedication to pro bono service through the Pro Bono Appellate Attorney Program.
