Michael is an associate in the Litigation Department. His practice focuses on all types of civil litigation, particularly in the areas of commercial litigation, construction law, and both residential and commercial landlord-tenant disputes.
Michael has litigated for both sides (plaintiffs and defendants) in commercial and contract disputes, as well as in construction litigation. He frequently collaborates with our robust real estate department to represent landlords regarding landlord-tenant issues.
He received his B.B.A. from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa and his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law.
During law school, Michael was an associate citations editor for the Berkeley Business Law Journal. He also contributed several short articles to the Network, which provides a legal perspective to current business-related events. Michael interned for the Santa Clara District Attorney’s Office in California and received the Witkin Award for the highest grade in Property.
