Gabriel is of counsel in the Finance and Real Estate Department of Cades Schutte.
His practice focuses on banking and finance, real estate, and land use. Gabriel advises clients on risk management and complex development issues. This includes lending transactions, land use controversies, challenges to approvals and environmental review, and disputes with regulatory agencies.
Gabriel is also an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
As a law student, Gabriel served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Ilana Diamond Rovner on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He acted as a litigation chair for Loyola Law School’s Life After Innocence Program. Gabriel was also a member of the ABA Negotiation Team, received the CALI Award in Negotiations and was selected for the international Warsaw Negotiation Round.
