Emily has a broad transactional practice with a focus on commercial finance and real estate in Hawai‘i. She regularly represents clients in both commercial and high value residential real estate acquisitions and dispositions. Emily also represents clients in the development and finance of affordable housing projects, including projects utilizing Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC).
Emily earned her law degree at the University of California, Irvine School of Law. While attending law school, she served as Managing Editor of the UC Irvine Law Review. Emily also served as a judicial extern for Associate Justice Sabrina McKenna of the Supreme Court of Hawai‘i.
Prior to law school, Emily earned a Master’s Degree in Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University Law School Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. Emily graduated from Pepperdine University, magna cum laude, where she played Division I soccer.
Emily grew up in Kailua, Hawai‘i, and is a graduate of ‘Iolani School.
