Trever K. Asam, a partner in Cades Schutte’s Tax Department, will be speaking at Hawaii Business Magazine’s 10th Annual Leadership Conference on July 20, 2023, in a session entitled, “Negotiations: A Discovery Process, Not a Battle.”
Negotiations—from transactional deal terms to the settlement of disputes—are a constant part of doing business. Hawaiʻi presents unique challenges in these negotiations, including the navigation of a different and more close-knit business and social ecosystem than may exist in other places. The panel will address these and other issues to consider. Trever will participate along with panelists from Native Hawaiian Legal Corp., Alaska Airlines, and the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement.
