Ryan M. Hamaguchi, a partner in Cades Schutte’s Finance, Real Estate & Corporate Department, was selected as part of Pacific Business News’ 40 Under 40 Class of 2023. The 40 Under 40 Awards recognize young professionals who are making a difference in the workplace and shaping the future of our community.
With experience practicing in both Hawai‘i and California, Ryan’s practice focuses on corporate and business law as well as business reorganization and bankruptcy law. Within Cades Schutte, he serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Wellness Committee and as a Member of the Marketing Committee and Pro Bono Committee.
Ryan is also committed to giving back to the community, currently serving as Board Member for the GIFT Foundation of Hawai‘i, a nonprofit with the mission of encouraging young adults to participate in philanthropic giving, which donates to several local non-profit organizations and programs in Hawai‘i via funds it has raised through its annual fundraiser. He also volunteers his time for initiatives including the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs Business Action Center, Court Annexed Arbitration Program, and Access to Justice Room, as well as holding several leadership positions within the Hawaii State Bar Association and Hawaii Bankruptcy Bar Association.
