Trisha L. Nishimoto, a partner in Cades Schutte LLP’s Litigation Department, was selected to attend the 2024 American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) National Trial College. The highly selective program is designed for young lawyers looking to hone their trial experience through a week-long program, and Trisha’s application was accepted out of thousands of applicants.
“We are immensely proud of Trisha for her involvement in ABOTA and the Trial College,” said Kelly G. LaPorte, Chair of Cades Schutte’s Litigation Department. “Trisha is one of our star litigators and trial attorneys, and we are excited about what she will learn during the program and how it will benefit the clients she serves.”
Trisha’s practice areas include medical malpractice defense, personal injury, insurance litigation, and the representation of physicians in administrative disciplinary matters.
ABOTA is an invitation-only organization comprised of U.S. lawyers and judges and was founded more than 50 years ago. It is an organization of trial lawyers dedicated to the preservation of the 7th Amendment right to a civil trial by jury, the promotion of civility and professionalism among members of the bar, and the protection of an independent judiciary.
The ABOTA Trial College will take place in August 2024 at the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in Chicago, Illinois.
