Welcome to the 2022 Spring/Summer issue of ke kumu. In 2022, Cades Schutte LLP celebrates its centennial anniversary. It is often said, ‘O ke kahua ma mua, ma hope ke kūkulu. The site first, and then the building. In this issue of ke kumu, we reflect on our firm’s history and the many people who have created a solid foundation here during the past 100 years. Our alumni, along with our current attorneys and staff, have paved the way with their respected and excellent work, establishing our firm as the premier, full-service law firm of Hawai‘i. We also highlight the charitable work that we have done in our community, including our renewed commitment to serve our community in our Ho‘okupu for 100 Initiative this year. We are honored to have served our clients and community for the past 100 years, and look forward to the next 100 and beyond!
