Attorneys Andrea K. Ushijima and Calvert G. Chipchase will speak at this year’s Hawaii Land Use Conference.
On Thursday, Andrea Ushijima will be discussing Legislative Updates, a topic which will cover bills affecting land use laws passed in the last two legislative sessions.
On Friday, Cal Chipchase will be discussing condemnation and inverse condemnation as part of the topic Takings: Murr and Relevant Parcel; Knick and Ripeness; Leone and Categorical Takings. He will be joined by attorneys Jesse Souki of the Office of General Counsel at the University of Hawai‘i, Andrew Beaman of Chun Kerr LLP, and Deputy Attorney General David Day.
The conference will take place on January 24th and 25th, in the YWCA’s Fuller Hall at 1040 Richards Street, Honolulu, HI 96813. It will cover topics including Affordable Housing, Climate Change Regulation, Monster Houses, and Drones, among many others.
