Cades Schutte LLP is pleased to announce that Mauna Kea Trask has joined the firm’s Kaua‘i office, effective December 1, 2018.
Mr. Trask has been a practicing attorney for thirteen years and most recently served as the County Attorney for the County of Kaua‘i from December 2014 to November 2018. During his tenure, he represented the County in a variety of matters including but not limited to Environmental Law and Litigation, Land Use, Zoning and Entitlements, Agriculture, Natural Disasters and Emergency Response, Public Works and Construction, Employment Law and Labor Relations, Inter-Governmental Relations, Transportation, and Water Resources. He is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools, Oregon State University, and the William S. Richardson School of Law.
Born on O’ahu and raised on Kaua‘i, Mr. Trask is a fourth-generation lawyer with deep roots throughout the State of Hawaii.

Mr. Trask joins Resident Partner, Allison Mizuo Lee in the Kaua‘i office. Ms. Mizuo Lee was also born and raised on Kaua‘i, and a graduate of Kaua‘i High School, Claremont McKenna College and the William S. Richardson School of Law.
