Cades partner, Nathan T. Okubowas appointed by the Honolulu City Council Chair to serve as a Commissioner on the Oahu Real Property Tax Advisory Commission.
The Advisory Commission will review the city’s property tax classifications, exemptions, credits and minimum property tax rates applying the same criteria employed by the State’s Tax Review Commission–equity, adequacy, stability, efficiency, simplicity, and competitiveness, and will make recommendations to the City Council later this year on any changes to Oahu’s real property tax code.
